Welcome to Ivy Cottage, our cosy country retreat

With its quaint beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and crackling log fire, we’ve lovingly fettled and furnished this 3-storey former granary into a traditional-meets-contemporary holiday cottage. Suitable for couples, small families and groups of friends alike, it sleeps up to four people (plus one infant), and is complete with all the mod cons you need for a comfortable stay.

Nestled in the village of Priest Hutton in the north Lancashire countryside, Ivy Cottage is surrounded by green fields and quiet country lanes. It's a place to get away from it all, yet is only a short drive from the motorway.

With an enviable location close to the junction of three counties (Lancashire, Cumbria and North Yorkshire), the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and the coastal towns and villages around Morecambe Bay are all within easy driving distance.

For a change of pace, relax in the tranquil gardens which are fully enclosed so perfect for your canine companions too. Or, when the weather's not so good, curl up in front of the wood burner with a good book, a hand of cards, or perhaps plan your next day out while logged in to our superfast Wi-Fi.

If cooking’s your thing, the kitchen is fully equipped so that you hardly need stir from the stove. If you fancy a change of culinary scene, a pint of real ale or a glass of fine wine, the local pub/restaurant (the dog-friendly Longlands Inn) is a picturesque mile’s stroll away.

Whether you’re looking for a week away, or a rejuvenating short break, Ivy Cottage is an idyllic getaway for all seasons.

We hope to welcome you soon!
